Besides,its flavor is unique and it is rich in nutrition.The growth and quality of watercress is closely related to the nutrient solution formula. Whether watercress can grow well, it should be matched with a nutrient solution formula of corresponding.The British lobar watercress as test material in this paper, studied the effects of different nutritional liquid formula, nutrient solution of different concentrations, different concentration of N, different NK ratio and different nitrogen forms on the growth and quality of the watercress, and the main results are as follows:1ã€Different nutrient solution formulations has different effect on the yield and quality of watercress. In the winter, nutrient solution cultivation of East China Agriculture University A and B formulation is more suitable for watercress, whether quantity or quality is relatively well. But in the spring, the yield of watercress cultivated with Hua B formula is higher than that with Hua A cultivation. Under the conditions of the Knop formula the watercress yield in spring is the highest, but in the autumn and winter time, the yield is low, which is not very suitable for cultivation, In general, Hua B is the best formula.2ã€Effects of different concentrations of nutrient solution on the yield and quality of watercress is different.1/2times Garden test can increase the concentration of watercress production. To reduce the concentration of the nutrient solution can reduce the content of watercress nitrate, but if the concentration is too low, the watercress yield will decrease significantly, especially in spring. The total salt content of nutrient solution which is suitable for watercress growth should be around1200mg/L.3ã€N fertilization increased properly can improve the quality of watercress, but adding excess it will reduce the yield and quality of watercress.What’s more,it will lead to the addition of nitrate. Therefore, the nutrient solution N fertilizer increased consideration the total ion concentration and solution pH value may be affected by the changes of the watercress growth. Therefore, the nutrient solution increased the N fertilizer should consider the change of total ion concentration, pH value of the solution on the effects of watercress growth.4ã€Adjustment of N and K nutrition liquid content can significantly improve the yield and quality of watercress. The temperature is low in winter plastic greenhouse and the watercress grows slowly, so the watercress yield higher inthe N3level, but because of the longer growth period, high nitrogen (N3) nutrient solution appears green algae, and watercress contains more nitrate. By April the temperature rise which strengthen the watercress transpiration, high nitrogen (N3) is lower than N2level watercress yield. So this experiment concluded in spring N2K2is the most suitable concentration of K N for watercress nutrient solution culture.5ã€Effects of different forms of nitrogen fertilizer on the yield and quality of watercress.
