This research was designed to evaluate the nutritional value of composite yeast and established the nutritional indexes of composite yeast for piglets by chemical analysis and animal trials.Composite yeast’s DM、CP、EE、Ash、Ca、P、GE and amino acids content was determined by chemical analysis. A single factor design, N-free diet, the Difference Method was use in the animal trials and chromic oxide (0.5%) was included in all diets as an exogenous marker to determine apparent digestible energy, apparent metabolic energy, true digestibility of crude protein, true availability of crude protein, and combined with slaughter trial to determine the apparent ileal digestibility and true ileal digestibility of amino acids in composite yeast. The results of the experiment showed that:Composite yeast’s DM content of95.51%, CP content of47.35%, EE content of1.14%, Ash content of6.71%, Ca content of0.09%, P content of0.87%, lysine content of3.43%, methionine content of0.72%, lysine:methionine:tryptophan:threonine=100:21:19:64, close to the ideal protein amino acids model of pig.Composite yeast contained18.97MJ/kg GE,14.98MJ/kg apparent digestible energy,14.05MJ/kg apparent metabolic energy. True digestibility and availability of crude protein were89.71%and69.53%, respectively; the protein biological value was69%. True ileal digestibility of other essential amino acids except threonine are higher than80%. Apparent and true ileal digestibility of lysine are91.84%and94.35%respectively. Apparent and true ileal digestibility of methionine are74.46%and83.81%respectively. Most of the dispensable amino acids’apparent and true ileal digestibility lower than the indispensable amino acids. Apparent and true ileal digestibility of alanine was highest of the the dispensable amino acids. Apparent and true ileal digestibility of glycine was lowest of the dispensable amino acids. In concluded, composite yeast is high-quality protein feed, high protein content, fine amino acid balance, high effective energy, high digestibility and availability of proteins and amino acids in piglets.
