In oeder to study the effects of grafting on tobacco nitrogen use efficiency,ZY100and JX6007two different tobacco varieties were grafted with each other tocampare the differences in nitrogen use efficiency,dry matter accumulation of leaf,the root properties, some key enzymes activities of nitrogen metabolism, the contentsof chlorophyll, physiological properities of leaf photosynthesis, nitrogen useefficiency and so on. The results were as follows:1. Through the experimental study on the survival rate of tobacco graft,theresults showed that the survival rate was all above80%and after hormone(1.5mg/Lnaphthalene acetic acid and1.0mg/L KT(1:1))treatment the survival rate was93.45%.So powerful basis for graft feasibility was provided.2. Nitrogen use efficiency of JX6007were larger than ZY100, after grafting theuse efficiency of tobacco were JX6007> ZY100/JX6007> JX6007/ZY100> ZY100with significant difference. The nitrogen use efficiency of ZY100/JX6007waslower than ZY100and higher than JX6007, the use efficiency of JX6007/ZY100waslarger than ZY100and lower than JX6007. The nitrogen use efficiency of graftedtobacco were larger than parents, which illustrate that average-advantage phenomenwas existed.3. Nitrogen efficiency of JX6007was higher than ZY100. During the latergrowth stage, the differences in nitrogen use efficiency,the root properties, somekey enzymes activities of nitrogen metabolism, the contents of chlorophyll,physiological properities of leaf photosynthesis were JX6007>JX6007/ZY100,ZY100<ZY100/JX6007.After using JX6007as stock,ZY100relational indicatorswere changed to have more higher nitrogen use efficiency, root absorb nitrogen ability,enzymes activities of nitrogen metabolism, the contents of chlorophyll andphotosynthetic capacity. However, after using ZY100as stock the result was opposite.4. During the later growth stage, the differences in nitrogen use efficiency,the root properties, some key enzymes activities of nitrogen metabolism, the contentsof chlorophyll and physiological properities of leaf photosynthesis were JX6007/ZY100> ZY100, ZY100/JX6007<JX6007. After using JX6007asscion,ZY100relational indicators were changed to have more higher nitrogen useefficiency,root absorb nitrogen ability, enzymes activities of nitrogen metabolism, thecontents of chlorophyll and photosynthetic capacity. However, after using stock asscion the result was opposite.5. After grafting the agronomic traits, dry matter accumulation of leaf andeconomic characters were had significant impact.Under high nitrogen level thebudding period of JX6007/ZY100was earlier than JX6007,and under low nitrogenlevel the budding period of ZY100/JX6007was later than ZY100,which indicatedstock had significant effect on tobacco budding period. With the advancement of thegrowth period of tobacco, the height, leaf number, the largest leaf(length,width) ofJX6007/ZY100were kept the same trend with JX6007,while ZY100/JX6007werekept the same trend with ZY100.,which indicated acion had significant effect ontobacco agronomic traits. Dry matter accumulation of leaf,area-yieldandaverage-price all were JX6007> ZY100/JX6007> JX6007/ZY100> ZY100withsignificant difference.
