Study On Nutrition Needing Of Energy And Protein And Metabolism Of Buffaloes Aged Of6-11Monthes

sixteen female buffaloes which are six months old,good health and similar body weight were choosed as experimental animals and randomly divided into four groups. Experimental diet consist of elephant grass,and concentrate feed,the quality of elephant grass in four groups are the same, the crude protein level of concentrate feed are the same (13.25%)but the energy level are different(the energy level respectively are7.2MJ/kg,6.5MJ/kg,6MJ/kg,5.5MJ/kg). the buffaloes were feeded in the fixed field and drink water freely, the whole period of test lasted for120days and pretest period is15days,the digestion metabolism(last for5days) and gas metabolism(last for5days) were carried out in the end of the feeding test,we can get these next conclusions from the analysis of the experimental study:(1) the digestible rate of gross energy was69.61%; the metabolic rate of gross energy was57.62%and the metabolic rate of digestible energy was82.62%;(2)the digestible rate of nitrogen was62.94%;the deposition rate of nitrogen was32.54%;(3) the gross heat production under normal condition was417.100KJ/kgW0.75.d; the heat production under fasting condition was307.455kJ/kgW0.75.d;and the heat increment was109.0kJ/kgW0.75.d;. the growth energy requirement of buffaloes was562.90kJ/kgW0.75.d, the gross net energy requirement of buffaloes was870.355kJ/kgW0.75.d.sixteen female buffaloes which are six months old,good health and similar body weight were choosed as experimental animals and randomly divided into four groups.
