The experimental objective:To improve the environment of buffalo farm and around and reduce the harm of malodorous gas for people and livestock, we search for the effective way to reduce the mount of malodorous gas of buffalo dung by both using deodorization microorganisms and Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts. And we can also to provide theoretical basis and technical reference to apply the deodorization microorganisms and Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts to actual production. The experiment methods:Estimated the capability of deodorization of microorganisms isolated from around of the farm by the way combining sensory evaluation and chemical analysis, and identification the deodorization microorganisms by observation the colonial morphology and molecular biology. Three levels of the Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts applied with the feeds to dairy buffalos, and the level is0.1%,0.2%å'Œ0.3%. The experiment was single design.100dairy young buffalos were selected and distributed randomly to4teams. The experiment last37days and then determined the feed intake, daily gain, serum biochemical indices, rumen fermentation parameters, attraction of flies and the release amount of NH3and H2S.The experimental results:Tow bacteria were isolated from the dry dung in grass, and identified as Escherichia coli. With144-192h the bacteria XI reduce the dung release quantity of H2S24.42%; and with48-96h the bacteria X2reduce the release quantity of H2S40.95%. The effect on buffalo dung release amount of NH3of both X1and X2were not significant Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts could obviously improved the feed intake and daily gain (P<0.05). The feed intake of group III increased19.41. The daily gain of each group increased44.74%,176.32%and44.74. The CHOL and BUN were significantly increased, and the effect on TP, ALT, AST, TG, GLU, LDH, IgG, IgA, IgM and LYM were not significantly(P>0.05). The N-NH3in rumen were significantly reduced (P<0.05). The group II and HI were reduced36.66%and59.32%. The effect of VFA and pH were significant(P>0.05). After addition the Eupatorium adenophorum spreng plant extracts, the dung release amount of NH3in test group were lower than control group in the first10days, and the dung release amount of in test group were lower than control group in the first5days. And then the dung release amount of NH3and H2S have no obvious difference. The15and30days of trial period*the number of flies landing in test group is significant reduced (P<0.05). The number of attraction of flies in test group appeal decrease by48%,72%and48%respectively at15days of the trial period, and decrease by43.33%,76%and43.33%respectively at30days of the trial period. Conclusions:Tow strains which could reduce the dung release amount of H2S were separated and identified as Escherichia coli. Different levels of the Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts addition to the diet of buffalo could significantly improve the feed intake, daily gain, CHOL and BUN, and significantly reduced the N-NH3in rumen. The Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts could improve production performance of buffalo without harm to the health. by reducing the dung release amount of NH3and H2S and the appeals to the flies, the Eupatorium adenophorum spreng extracts could improve the living environment of buffalo.
