| Currently, agricultural products’ working and service have a good development. Exceptthe transportation of staple products, the need for transportation of single measure and shortdistance increases. The tools for transportation in the field have low speed. The traditionalagricultural automobile is soiled and consumes more energy. Its efficiency is low and cost ishigh. So it is necessary for agricultural products’ transportation to have a machinery which ismore clean and cheaper and more flexible. A new fashioned flexible chassis system withindividual driver, independent steering and wheel suspension is studied based on the4wheelsteering, compared with existing chassis system, its radius of turning circle is smaller,meanwhile, it also can steer horizontally with90degrees and turn fixedly with strongermaneuverability, the new chassis system will provide technical support for the agriculturalmachinery, responsible for the rapid development of farming industry.Firstly, design a flexible chassis which was different from the traditional chassis. Theflexible chassis combined the walking system and the steering system and became simple.According to the actual situation, improved the original prototype and installed an angulartransducer. To solve the problem of the independent drive system, designed an offset axismethod based on the bridge circuit. The method simplified the control system and solved thechassis’ rigid. It provided a foundation for the designer of the controller.Secondly, gave a detailed design of hardware and software for the flexible chassis’steering system. Gave the steering system’s diagram based on the steering control strategy.Select the right SCM and had a test for each module. Completed the design of the systeminitially.Thirdly, had a test on the vehicle according to the design and test above. Validate thesteering system’s correctness through the test and lay the foundation for the development offlexible chassis which was based on4wheel drive and4wheel steering.Lastly, considered the prototype’s structure having some issues, combined the modernchassis’s structure, according to the flexible chassis’ motion characteristic, and designed anew prototype, which was more convenient for assigning the level and driver’s seat. Thedesign played a good foundation for the next test. In summary, the steering system was feasibility according to the design and the test, thesystem was the foundation of the next experiment to study the flexible chassis’ motioncharacter. |
