Avian gout is one of the common chicken diseases all over the world, it is a commonmultiple of poultry disease in poultry production and has a relatively high morbidity andmortality. The disease mostly occurs in chicken. Traditional Chinese medicine to treatavian gout reported more and more in recent years.55037-days-old Hyline Brown laying hens have been choosed as the experimentalanimals. They were randomly divided into11groups. They were Normal control group,High concentration of virus control group, low concentration of virus control group,Traditional Chinese medicine1to prevent high concentration of virus group, TraditionalChinese medicine1to prevent low concentration of virus group, Traditional Chinesemedicine1to heal high concentration of virus group, Traditional Chinese medicine1toheal low concentration of virus group, Traditional Chinese medicine2to prevent highconcentration of virus group, Traditional Chinese medicine2to prevent low concentrationof virus group, Traditional Chinese medicine2to heal high concentration of virus group,Traditional Chinese medicine2to heal low concentration of virus group. Each group50Hyline Brown laying hens. By the artificial replication chicken gout cases, two kinds ofTraditional Chinese medicine proprietary have been used for the prevention and treatmentof experiment, Which has been used to study the Production performance and blood. The Experimental results showed that:1. IBV could induce chicken gout, resulting in diarrhea, slowing the growth and ureteralurate deposition.2. Two kinds of Traditional Chinese medicine proprietary have a role in improving sickchicken growth. The mortality, feed conversions were lower than the virus control group, but higher than the normal group. There has been a trend that the weight and average dailygain were higher than the virus control group, but lower than the normal group. Comparedwith the virus group, at day12, Weight of Traditional Chinese medicine2to heal lowconcentration of virus group was significantly lower. At day26, Weight of TraditionalChinese medicine1to prevent and heal high concentration of virus groups weresignificantly higher.3. When chickens artificially infected with IBV, the WBC and GRAN have been increased. While for the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group, there has been a trend that theWBC was higher than the virus control group and the normal group. Compared with thevirus group, at day12, WBC of Traditional Chinese medicine1to prevent highconcentration of virus group was significantly higher, GRAN of Traditional Chinesemedicine1to heal low concentration of virus group was significantly higher. At day26,WBC of Traditional Chinese medicine1to prevent and Traditional Chinese medicine2to heal high concentration of virus group were significantly higher.4. When chickens artificially infected with IBV, the LYM have been increased. While forthe traditional Chinese medicine treatment group, there has been a trend that the LYM werelower than the virus control group, but higher than the normal group. The difference wasnot significant.5. When chickens artificially infected with IBV, the MID(including monocytes, eosinophilsand basophils) have been increased. While for the traditional Chinese medicine treatmentgroup, there has been a trend that the MID were lower than the virus control group, buthigher than the normal group. The difference was not significant.6. When chickens artificially infected with IBV, the RBC, MCH and HCT have beenincreased. While for the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group, there has been atrend that the RBC and HCT were lower than the virus control group, but higher than thenormal group. While there has been a trend that the MCH were higher than the viruscontrol group and the normal group. Compared with the virus group, at day12, MCH ofTraditional Chinese medicine1to prevent and heal high concentration of virus group weresignificantly lower. At day19, MCH of Traditional Chinese medicine1to prevent and healhigh concentration of virus group, and Traditional Chinese medicine2to prevent and healhigh concentration of virus group were very significantly lower.7. When chickens artificially infected with IBV, the PLT have been increased. While forthe traditional Chinese medicine treatment group, there has been a trend that the PLT werelower than the virus control group, but higher than the normal group. Compared with thevirus group, at day26, PLT of Traditional Chinese medicine2to prevent highconcentration of virus group were significantly lower.
