We measured the fineroots biomass and annual production of fine roots, analyzed their seasonal and temporaldynamic, also analyzed theire correlation with climate and soil fertility feature. The resultswere showed as follows:1.The total fine roots biomass along elevation was: BF(569.5g·m-2)>EBF(478.1g·m-2)>CBF(394.9g·m-2)>CFF(161.7g·m-2)>CF(109.8g·m-2)>FF(81.4g·m-2).The living fineroots biomass along elevation was:EF(493.5g·m-2)>EBF(335.13g·m-2)>CBF(258.4g·m-2)>CFF(113.2g·m-2)>CF(60.9g·m-2)>FF(42.7g·m-2).The dead fine roots biomass alongelevation was:EBF(142.9g·m-2)>CBF(135.8g·m-2)>BF(76g·m-2)>CF(48.9g·m-2)>CFF(48.5g·m-2)>FF(38.8g·m-2).Totalã€living and dead fine root biomass showed significantseasonal differences in different stand type. Living fine root biomass more peak in the summerexcept FF which had the biggest fine root biomass in the spring and autumn.2.The spatial distribution of the fine root is uneven in the soil profile. The biomass of theliving and dead fine root is decreased with the depth of the soil. The dead fine roots biomass ofeach plantation (except FF) had no significant difference between the two layers. Living anddead fine root biomass in the two layers showed significant seasonal differences, and significantseasonal differences in the0-10soil layer were more obvious than that in the10-30soil layer.3.The annual production of fine roots along elevation was: BF (335.57g·m-2·a-1)>EBF(194.38g·m-2·a-1)>CBF (183.4g·m-2·a-1)>CFF (135.9g·m-2·a-1)>FF (65.7g·m-2·a-1)>CF (57.8g·m-2·a-1)ï¼›The turnover of fine roots along elevation was:FF (1.54a-1)>CFF (1.2a-1)>CF(0.95a-1)> CBF(0.71a-1)>BF (0.68a-1)>EBF (0.58a-1)。CBF can improve the production of the forestand maintain the soil fertility.4. According to the analysis of the effect of environmental factors on seasonal dynamic offine root biomass, we found the influences of soil temperature were more significant than otherfactors. The living fine root biomass in different layers was significantly positive correlated withthe C concentration (P<0.05). The fine roots biomass was significantly positive correlated withannual production of fine roots(P<0.01)and was significantly negative correlated with theturnover of fine roots(P<0.05). | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Fengyang Mountains, fine roots, biomass, turnover, seasonal dynamic | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
