Chimonanthus praecox is Calycanthaceae as a kind of Chimonanthus Lindley.This kind ofplant has leaves and flowers giving off fragrances and contains volatile fragrant oil substancesas the traditional famous flower planted in the courtyard and the green plant planted in thelandscape gardens in China with viewing and admiring values in color,fragrance,appearanceand romantic charm. Also has some medicinal and edible value.It’s widely used infood&chemical industry etc.In this paper,All the cultivars materials are come from NanjingForestry University campus, Extracting the flavor components by steam distillation extractionand organic solvent (hexane, cyclohexane) extraction and analysis the wintersweet’s volatilecomponents in GC-MS,the results are as follows:1.In three different states(Buds,early spread and flowering),wintersweet flower essentialoil ingredients are basically the same,especially,the linalool content is increasing withopenness,and reached the peak in buds,the mass fraction is11.72%, the other components arenot change;2.There’re small quantity differences among different varieties of wintersweet from budsstage to blooming stage,the experiment identified43aroma components from four varieties ofwintersweet and common contains17;3.In the blossom process, all varieties of wintersweet’s T/E value increased;4.The extraction rate are respectively0.57%and0.71%of fresh wintersweet flowers anddried flowers,It’s identified45chemical substances in the fresh flowers which92.62%of thetotal peak area and41in the dry flowers which is87.08%.The chemical components of volatileoil are basically agreement.The paper further analyzes the Flavor&Fragrance industry, especially discussing the futuredevelopment of it. Since the implementation of reform and opening一up policy,China hasmaintained a rapid and sustainable development on its economy. It has provided the historicdevelopment chance for our Flavor&Fragrance industry,which supports importantcomplementary products for light industry. But after joining WTO,the internationalFlavor&Fragrance enterprises come to China for jointing venture,annexing or setting upfactories by themselves, coupled with China’s national essence of enterprise’s own problems,thenational firms lose the market share little by little.Based that fact,this paper analyses the historical and present situation and futuredevelopment tendency,and find the problems in national Flavor&Fragrance industry. By usingof the principles of industry economic,this paper puts forward some countermeasures for thedevelopment of the Flavor&Fragrance industry in China compared with the advancedexperiences achieved by the international Flavor&Fragrance enterprises. Adopting the principleof relative advantage,this paper points out the way to construct the relative advantage of ournational Flavor&Fragrance enterprises,based on the predominance of natural Flavor&Fragrance resource of our country.It emphasize to make full use of the variety of traditional culture of ourcountry to accent the diversity in developing the new products,which could be referred asdeveloping our national Flavor&Fragrance enterprises.
