With the depletion of fossil fuels, worsening environmental problems, increasing the demand for new energy sources, the development of new renewable energy, protecting the environment is a global consensus. Such as new energy hydropower, solar, geothermal, ocean energy etc., wind energy has been used long time, and its technology is more mature. As green electricity, with huge reserves of wind energy, environmental protection, renewable, and many other advantages, wind power has more and more attention. Under the rapid development of wind power, wind power technologies required to improve. Based on current conditions, on the actual wind power systems to engage in research cannot be achieved. So its needs to operate an experimental simulation system to replace the actual wind power systems, wind power technology research can be achieved. The simulated wind turbine system is an integral part of this simulation system. Focus of the study is that it can be implemented and perform.Firstly, paper introduces the classification and structure of the wind turbine, and elaborated its major adjustment method and principle. From the whole wind turbine we have a cognitive to turbine on the whole. Secondly, we obtained torque characteristics of wind turbine, on the basis of the theory of aerodynamic. Then we established a method for solving the torque coefficient. Finally this paper analyzes the present situation and encountered problems of wind turbine simulator, proposed wind turbine simulation program:Dynamic torque compensation.To fully reflect the characteristics of natural wind, paper established a wind speed model based on power spectral density function. The wind speed is divided into two parts:the low-frequency part and the turbulent part. The low frequency part adopts Weibull distribution model. Discuss in detail the Weibull wind speed impact factor of the model. Though specific needs to select the suitable parameters, for simulating a wind field, and to meet the requirements of wind speed. Turbulence modeling part adopts von Kaimal model, designing a first order filter.Finally, the wind speed sequence is obtained by the Simulink simulation.Paper introduces two dynamic torque compensation of wind turbine dynamic simulator. Added a inertia compensation link for unbalanced of inertia in the process of simulation of wind turbine, including a low pass filter. According to the filter function, the parameters and relationship between the parameters of filter are designed. Ensure stable operation of system. The wind shear and tower shadow effect are equivalent the disturbance of wind speed, superimposing on the wind speed of the turn hub of wind wheel. The wind shear and tower shadow effect give compensation in the form of equivalent torque. The paper analyzed the influence factors of wind shear and tower shadow.Finally set up the experimental platform of the wind turbine dynamic simulation system. Experimental platform is composed of several parts such as upper computer, servo drivers, and permanent magnet synchronous motor. Do the experiment from three aspects. The result provides strong evidence for its correctness, effectiveness and following. It also proved that the simulator performance is good and that the simulator is able to experimental research instead of the actual wind turbine.
