Open Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is an online testingequipment, it can telemetry spectrum of infrared light source. Currently, the research ofOP-FTIR spectrometer develops slowly in China, there is no domestic productsavailable.This article comes from a commissioned project of an institute, requiring to designan open-plan infrared spectrometer. After several years of preliminary work study, thedesign of open-FTIR spectrometer optical system and mechanical structure have beenfinished, the body portion of the instrument has been assembled, but at the adjustmentphase of the instrument optical path encountered some problems. Aiming at theproblems of the adjustment phase of the instrument, completed the following majortasks:1. By optimizing the design of the original mirror adjustment seat, increases thedisplacement of the mirror trimming,which to meet the requirement of adjusting thetwo-way light path of interferometer precisely equal, while addressing the originalmirror is hard to lock tight and hard to adjust pitch and yaw defects.2. With visible light to study the adjustment program of the instrument, anauxiliary light source installation and adjustment system and auxiliary target have beendesigned, making visible simulate infrared light path to adjust the instrument andverified by infrared.3. A spectroscope assisted positioning system has been designed, which to guidethe replacement and adjustment of the BS beam splitter, making the splitting surfacecoincide after replacement.4. Under the guidance of the adjustment program by using the auxiliary systemadjusts the optical path of the instrument, and ultimately measures a narrowbandinfrared light spectrum, validates the measure function of the instrument.
