With low-cost、non-intrusive、non-ionizing radiation、real-time dynamic、quicklyrepeated diagnosis, medical ultrasound imaging system is applied widely in medicaldiagnosis field. The high frequency ultrasound with high resolution that can get highresolution imaging is applied widely in the research of skin、superficial organ、subtleorgan and small animals etc.This paper mainly research on mechanical sector scanning device and digital scanconversion technology. It’s contents as follows:1. This paper has designed a new mechanical sector scanning device. Introduced thestructure and principal of it in detail. Firstly determined sizes of drive parts and transmitparts by overall dimensions and scanning range etc. Secondly completed the design ofangle sensor by the first step. Completed the design of the entire device at last.2. Driving power designed of the device. This paper introduced two methods ofgenerating sin signal. Respectively based on MSP430single-chip and FPGA. Throughpower amplification the sin signal became driving power, and then it can drive thesector scanning device to work.3. Introduced digital scan converter, it achieved the conversion of polar coordinate torectangular coordinate, introduced the CORDIC algorithm and methods of interpolationin detail.
