Steel fiber reinforced concrete is mixed with proper amount of short steel fiber inthe ordinary concrete and formation of the casting, injection molding of a new type ofcomposite materials. Now It is widely used in building engineering, hydraulicengineering, highway bridge engineering, highway pavement and airportpavement engineering, railway and cheng, pipeline engineering, inland waterwayengineering, explosion-proof engineering and maintenance engineering and otherprofessional fields, Steel fiber reinforced concrete has important economic value andsocial impact in both the civil and defence. Compared with ordinary concrete, steelfiber concrete has excellent static and dynamic performance, especially theperformance of the ultra-high strength steel fiber reinforced concrete is more superior.In this paper, the steel fiber reinforced concrete for static experiments anddynamic experiments. In the static experiments of fiber content were0%and2.5%respectively of concrete compressive strength and direct tensile experiment wascarried out, determination of the steel fiber reinforced concrete the basicmechanical parameters, such as elastic modulus, poisson’s ratio, peak stress, peakstrain; By comparing the stress-strain full curves obtained from tests, we study theinfluence of different fiber content on the strength of concrete, at the same time bycomparing the different damage forms and we summary the respective analysis offailure mechanism.In the dynamic experiments carried on the dynamic compressive strength anddynamic splitting tensile under different strain rate with different length to diameterratio of stress and strain test, Calculated the peak stress, peak strain and strain rateRelationship diagram and DIF, DEIF and strain rate Relationship diagram. We canclearly see from the two experiment has obvious enhanced effect of strain rate, in thispaper,we discuss the causes of this effect.Through the damage form of steel fiber reinforced concrete and destructionprocess of observation,and analysis, comparing ordinary concrete, we discuss theenhancement mechanism of steel fiber reinforced concrete in this paper, the fiber spacing theory and composite theory has its advantages and disadvantages. Fromanother perspective, the concrete damage process actually is a process of internalstructure damage, therefore, this article also from the Angle of damage mechanics, thedamage process of steel fiber reinforced concrete and strengthening mechanism hascarried on the qualitative analysis.
