China’s building for the aged constructions have very large ascendant space instereo greening. Firstly, with the rapid increase of population aging in China, thebuilding for the aged have gradually developed, and three-dimensional greening hasgreat advantages in improving building function. Secondly, little practical greeningapplication was used in China’s building for the aged, not to mention three-dimensionalgreen. Finally, with the national attention to this special group of the elderly,implementation of greening is gradually put on the agenda in the building for the aged,and three-dimensional greening as an important means of which began to cause theattention of all parties.This paper first to make the needs of the elderly clearly, and defined the focus ofthe study about suitable greening in the building for the elderly. Then, considering theimportance of economic and technical indicators, combined with the construction of thegeographical climate using local resources and vegetation greening measures, keepinggood economic performance. Finally, because the special environmental requirementsof the building for the aged, the green technology should be adopted in order tointegrate with building. China’s three-dimensional greening measures linked to buildingfor the aged have yet to be further research, and research innovation points are asfollows:The buildings for the aged is organically combined with the three-dimensionalgreen technologyBecause of the special characteristic of old-age population, requirements ofenvironment in building for the aged are high. The environmental capability of buildingauto-regulation can’t meet requirements, therefore green means should be applied to beachieved the goal.The design style of building for the aged is special, from the two aspects of indoorand outdoor to improve itself and the surrounding environment. The interiorenvironment was regulated according to the courtyard, balcony and terrace withgreenery. Exterior room reduces building energy consumption by means of roof andwall greening to. It made the tremendous contribution for the energy-saving emissionreduction. In order to make the three-dimensional green integrated with the building for theaged, design should be comprehensive consideration.Selection of plant species and the reasonable collocation, to achieve the goal ofthree-dimensional green in building for the aged from the economic, energy saving andbeautiful view.This thesis aims to conduct of research on three-dimensional greening of China’sbuildings for aged, can also provide reference for the research of this kind of building inthree-dimensional green. Green building is an important development direction ofbuilding, with the popularization of the concept, this paper can provide certain help tothe study of three-dimensional green technology which is applied in the building for theaged.
