With the sustainable development of economy, automobile industry has become animportant industry, automobile consumption market has become increasingly mature. Thelandmark of automotive body assembly more and more get the attention of people, the controllevel of dimension precision become automobile manufacturing level of the direct externalperformance, has the important role of first impression. Heavy truck as a niche product, in thecommercial vehicle development by leaps and bounds over the years, the competition isincreasingly fierce. Heavy truck is developed into High-speed, heavy-duty, profession. Cabassembly dimensional accuracy control level has a very important impact on noise, sealingand ride comfort of driving heavy truck. So the heavy truck cab body-in-white dimensionprecision control, to improve China’s heavy truck cab manufacture quality has importantpractical significance.Paper systematically studied the heavy truck cab body-in-white sheet metal parts designand manufacturing process and welding stage of dimensional accuracy control problem.Through the body-in-white sheet metal parts of cab design and manufacturing processanalysis, get the sheet metal parts manufacturing stage product dimension deviation causes,and how to through the trim die and adjust equipment parameters improve cab body-in-whitesheet metal parts dimension accuracy. On the other hand through the cab body in white carassembly welding analysis, find out the reason of welding stage appear deviation, accordingto the characteristics of the sheet metal parts, put forward "N-2-1" positioning theory, And thewelding fixture clamping, deformation, maintenance, provide the method to solve.Papers analysis the quality detection and evaluation method of automobile cabbody-in-white, according to the heavy truck cab body-in-white structure and manufacturingfeatures, apply the theory of "data driven quality" and adopt the method of QC, analysis andstudy dimensiondetection and quality evaluation. On a heavy truck cab body-in-white fromman, machine, material, method, surrounding six aspects, put forward specific improvementscheme, Using six sigma (6σ), process capability index (Cp/Cpk), Pass Rate three methodsfor evaluation of process quality control. Comprehensive evaluation results show that theimproved heavy truck cab is a considerable improvement of quality control of body-in-whitedimension, and at the same time the method is proven to be in the heavy truck cab body-in-white dimension on the effectiveness of the control.
