The Space radiation environment is one of the important factors to influence high reliability, lifetime of spacecraft and astronaut health in space exploration activities. The detection and study ofSpace radiation environment is the important part of the space science, and provides security forSpace industry. Space neutron is an important part of the space environment. Acoording to the studyof neutron, the correnlation detectors for neutron have be developed.Above all, a manufacturing technology of the neutron sensitive layer with enriched boron hasbeen developed in this paper. We got the best production process after many test and verified thereliability of the technology. According to n/γ radiation field, we developed a set of wide range andhigh sensitivity detectors, including boron-lined proportional counter and n/γ boron ionizationchamber. The internal electrode used nested structure, easy dismantling. In the detector, we designedthe leakage current bypass electrode and noise shielding measures. Then the leakage current is lessthan0.1pA and low noise. Several boron-lined epoxy sheet have been set in detector used for increasecoating boron area and improve the neutron efficiency and sensitivity. Finally, Bonner Spheretechnique has been used in this paper can expand the neutron energy measurement range.Detectors have finished debug and test in n/γfield. Get a good response, plateau characteristicand sensitivity and other important performance index. The boron-lined ionization chamber consistsof neutron ionization chamber and γ ionization chamber. Ionization chamber tests by241Am-Beradiation source and137Cs radiation source. Which results a600V plateau length with a slope of4%/100V. The neutron sensitivity is9.2×10-16A/(cm-2s-1) and γ sensitivity is7.36×10-16A/(MeV·cm-2·s-1). Get the γ compensated correction factor less than5%. The boron-linedproportional counter has been tested by241Am-Be radiation source, Which results a150V plateaulength with a slope of8.2%/100V. When the proportional counter works in800V, the neutroncountrate is50cps and sensitivity is1cps/nv.This set of detector costs low and has stable performance and the performance have close to thedomestic and international research level in boron-lined detectors.
