Although water resources in Xinjiang region is relatively rich, but because of theunequal distribution of time and space, resulting in the contradiction between watershortages and growing demand for water. Therefore, engineering measures andnon-engineering measures of water resources must be used effectively and imperative. This paper takes Juntang Lake Basin as an example, first introduced the basicsituation of the study area, in turn, according to the study area hydrogeology, meteorology, and other relevant information, applied arid zone water balance model,in accordance with the model requires, the study area were generalization. Then theparameters of the model were calculated. finally, used water balance model tosimulate the basin water resources applications. On this basis, the norm method wasused in Juntang Lake Basin water resources rational allocation. In addition, in recentyears, as the development of efficient water-saving technology in study area, dripirrigation acreage has gradually expanded, the study concern in this respect, executivedrip tape design test and obtain a more reasonable design parameters. This paper alsostudy the drip irrigation emitter size and laying length in Juntang Lake Basin. In thispaper, the main results are as follows:(1) Introduction the principle of the model and generalization, to analyze andcalculate the main parameters of the calibration process.(2) Study on basin water balance relationship of each module, and simulated thewater balance under current conditions, the results show: basin irrigation watermanagement is not strict enough, the form of water resources utilization is single, canal seepage losses and groundwater level decline faster in Lianfeng village andHongshan village.(3) The norm method was used in the rational allocation of water resources, andgradually control the total amount of water.
