In roadbed construction, because of the construction season is in the rainy season,or the place where is to get soil is of low-lying, or the lacks of sand and gravelmaterials, or a tight schedule to far earthmoving, and many other restrictions, ithave to use excessive soil. There are many methods for excessive soil treatment inEngineering, but the most extensive, most simple construction, the lowest costmethod is to make use of raw lime powder mixing into earth to improve earth’ squality.In general, design units are often based on the investigation of the soilsituation to given the general treatment of excessive soil. but to the constructionside, because of interests, reasons were often to fabricate to change subgrade soilTreatment options which design units proposed, or soil investigation is to beinconsistent, we must change the design. Faced with this phenomenon, theconstruction units were difficult to control the processing of the excessive soil.Therefore it is necessary to study how to make use of raw lime powder mixing intoearth to improve earth’ s quality systemly and propose a method for the constructionunits to determine the lime mix rate; and the method will provide information fordesign units and construction units to make decisions for excessive soil treatmentBased on the relevant research,The study analysed the complexity between lime and soil in physicochemicalinteraction. Base on this, to consider the feasibility of the laboratory test, and tosimulate the construction environment, orthogonal experiment was adopt toeffectively study the water content changes of excessive soil under a number offactors according to research approach which take many factors into account.Experiment is produced to study the impact of lime quality on earth with lime;Conduct tests of different soils different lime dose wind level temperature withmoisture content variation. Analysed numbers of data with BP neural networktraining,and got the multiple and complex relations of the soil, the initial moisturecontent, soil quality, level wind, temperature and processing stable moisturecontent.Finally, drawed out of soil’s nomogram of the relations of the initial moisture and suitable lime dose, using the measured data and complement test points of trainingmodel.
