In the power system, the research of power gird is related to the analysis of topology structure nearly. Geometry topology reflects the connected estate of power gird facilities and physics topology reflects the electric coupling relationship of power gird elements. Working over geometry topology structure is just in the person of the relationship of facilities, there is no clear physics meaning in this relationship. But discussing on the physics structure can analyze the power gird academic deeply. Researching on the power supply path is one aspect of analyzing gird physics topology structure, the paper aims to discuss the power supply path which would describe the power supply process independently of a certain source, based on power components theory. Power is decomposed into distribution status, to gain the unaided distributing orderliness and analyze the paths of power in the gird. To present all the distribution transmission paths from each source to loads at last. The whole process is provided with self-contained electric parameters and physics meaning. In order to take shape the abstract power supply path, needed to deposit store the path information which is convenient for data reading. With a view to power supply path, the existing methods of search and storage are non-pertinent. In general, path search methods are classified into depth-first search and breadth-first search. The paper analyzes the data characteristic of power supply path and elicits the conclusion that the characteristic of power supply path possesses the part repeatability, by analyzing the complexity of the both methods. To choice the preponderant depth-first search method in the end. The search plan will avoid the repetitive storage of path node data; there is the purpose which is optimal storage. Considering the ring structure phenomenon, disposal scheme has been proposed. For further store saved, node number rank-based weighted algorithm which could be adjusted to save a great lot store resources will be used. Finally, the methods of search and optimal storage what the paper puts forward are combined with a certain city validate. Make sure the pertinence and practicality of methods which the paper puts forward.
