Anaerobic technology can treat wastewater which has high organic load andneed low energy consumption. Also the anaerobic has litter residual sludge andproduce biogas-energy. But the traditional anaerobic technology had someinsufficiency such as difficult separation of gas-liquid-solid three-phase, complexstructures and incomplete mixing. Under the condition of continuous flow theanaerobic reactor appeared to the acidification phenomenon which leaded tolow efficiency and poor stability of anaerobic reactor. Therefore,it had animportant practical significance to develop an innovative and efficient anaerobicbioreactor. This topic based on the anaerobic principle, lessoned from operationalmode of Anaerobic Sequencing Batch Reactor, the designing train of thought ofUp-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactor, comprehensive energy consumptionand the characteristics of anaerobic microbial populations, mixing sprayair-compound anaerobic reactor was designed. According to the anaerobicreactor hydraulic simulation model structure, The structure of the reactor whichanalyzed the design of the reactor performance was optimized.(1) By using batch mode to operate the reactor: the removal rate of themicroorganism which located at bottom of the sludge in water was68%, thesludge which appeared in the top formed in23days, the removal rate ofwastewater was72%. The removal mechanism of organic matter was differentunder different height of microorganism in wastewater. Sludge concentration was7.5g/L, the reactor volume load of18.4kg/(m3·d). The VFA of reactor within arange of300-800mg/L, oxidation reduction potential at the top of the sludgelayer was higher than the bottom sludge.(2) By using the short time-consuming of activated sludge reactor underintermittent flow, under continuous flow mode it was found that the hydraulicretention time reduced from24h to8h layer at the bottom of the sludge removal rate was78%, the top layer sludge removal rate was74%. It could reach a highvolumetric efficiency. The organic loading rate and volumetric COD removalrate were24kg/(m3·d) and19.2kg/(m3·d).Outside power cycle per hour of60s,within30minutes after mixing effluent SS was about600mg/L, the content ofVFA swing between253-290mg/L; After mixing let stand for30min, effluentSS was about250mg/L, the range of VFA swings between570-643mg/L;Intercepting of packing layer effectively. The gas production during the runningof reactor under continuous flow was7L/d.(3) The effect of filler layer:1) With a good intercepting action;2) It wasequivalent to three separator and separated of gas liquid and solid;3) Providedthe place of microbial growth.
