2-amino-4-chloro-6-nitrophenol, which is an important chemical and dye intermediates, plays important role in chemical industries. However, the current domestic production technology is not very mature. Therefore, it is quiet clear that the development of this product and optimization of their production process has wide commercial significance. The purpose of the research projects is that first to explore the synthesis of2-amino-4-chloro-6-nitrophenol optimum conditions; to guide enterprises in this regard production to meet our industry’s demand for this product, rich varieties of dye intermediates in China, and second we analysis the physical and chemical properties of2-amino-4-chloro-6-nitrophenol.In this thesis, we take three-step reaction to synthesize2-amino-4-chloro-6-ni trophenol by phenol as raw material.First step copper chloride was taken as the chlorinating agent to reaction with phenol synthesis of chlorophenol. Through analysis and comparison of the various factors that affect the reaction results to determine optimum conditions for the reaction temperature to110℃, reaction time13h, the concentration of hydrochloric acid in the8to9.0mol/L.The second step chlorophenol double pin reaction by gas chromatography analysis and comparison by indirect mixed acid digestion method. Analysis of each factor and orthogonal experiment to determine the optimal conditions for the catalyst acid (nitric acid than sulfuric acid ratio) of10:1, the temperature is set to40℃,, the reaction time of32hours.The third step through the sodium sulfide, iron, stannous chloride three reduction compare the reduction of the nitro group in the experimental operation of the amino group, determine the the stannous chloride optimal reduction, and the synthesis of products with infrared spectra to detect its functional groups; Similar physical and chemical properties of substances analytical separation operation.By1H NMR and IR spectra of the products to determine the structure of the final product.
