Since energy, safety, environment and other issues become prominent;"Energy conservation and emission reduction" and "Green production" have become an important research topic in industrial production. Especially in chemical and related industries, as one of the largest energy consumption industries, some common problems have become increasingly acute. How to ensure high quality output, and to achieve energy saving, consumption reduction and green chemical, have become a common target. Reaction and separation is the most fundamental components of the chemical industry. Effective integration of the reaction and separation is the most important mean to achieve these goals.Based on study of different reaction-separation integrated methods, a new regioselective simulated moving bed technology was proposed in this paper. This technology could effectively integrate the reaction and separation by dividing the system into several reaction units and separation units. It was tentatively applied to the preparation of clarithromycin reaction intermediate and high fructose corn syrup, the multiple high quality products would be obtained, the utilization rate of the raw materials would be improved, and processing time, energy consumption and eluent consumption would be reduced. The main research and conclusions are:(1) With the comparison of "The shunt multiple separation integrated with reaction" and "CSMB reaction-separation integrated technology’", and combined the main idea of SMBR, Regioselective simulated moving bed reaction separation integrated technology (RSMB) was proposed. It was composed of multiple reaction units and separation units. Different functions were realized by switching the electromagnetic valve. Through different reaction degrees of different reaction elements, the optimized integrated of reaction and separation in relevant districts was achieved. Through different separation degrees of different separation elements, several target concentration of the product could be obtained.(2) According to the main idea of RSMB, laboratory experimental platform was designed and put up, which was constituted by single-column and double-column chromatography separation system. The sample out of chromatographic column directly flowed into ultraviolet detection pool in the single-column system, which made the isolation effect easier to monitor. Double-column system, as a system of series of two chromatographic columns, was developed to investigate detailed separation parameters with the help of TLC. Abbe refractor and HPLC.(3) The preparation of clarithromycin reaction intermediate and high fructose corn syrup was researched in the laboratory experimental platform. Through single-column separation and TLC, the stationary phase-mobile phase system of clarithromycin reaction intermediate was determined. And input quantity, eluant flow rate, and elution time were determined through further study in double-column system. All above made it possible to do analogue simulation. And preliminary exploration for industrial application by laboratory experiment was researched. Based on relevant experiments, RSMB reaction-separation integrated system was set up for preparation for high fructose corn syrup. By control of different reaction degree and separation degree in different district, the capacity and utilization rate of the raw materials would be improved and energy consumption was reduced.(4) The separation model for preparation of clarithromycin reaction intermediate was build. By simulation of relevant operation parameters, the optimal results were achieved. Based on the optimal results above, RSMB reaction-separation integrated system for clarithromycin reaction intermediate was considered. Higher recovery of raw materials and higher quality products would be obtained through this system.All those researches provided above can be useful guide for determining new reaction separation integrated system.
