We treated PP non-woven fabric, brought good hydrophilicity and powerful adsorption,in order to solve the problem of poor hydrophilicity and lack adsorption of PP non-wovenfabric.The finished PP non-woven fabric was a new composite material which was used towaste water treatment.The main contents were described as follows:On the basis of consulting forefathers to study, prepared of chitosan/Y2O3compositefilms, and analysed and studied the modified Y2O3in composite films, as same as adsorptionperformance.Prepared polypropylene-chitosan/Y2O3composites, while chitosan/Y2O3composite filmson the premise of dispersion, adsorption. Analysed and studied swellbility, fastness and tensilestrength of the composite materials by respectiving the dosage of cross-linking agent, thedosage of Y2O3and the dosage of chitosan in the composite materials. Then analysed andstudied the adsoprtion of composite materials for phosphate by using aqueous enzymaticmetod under different experimental settings (adsorption time, pH, phosphate concentrationsand consumption) and compared with the adsoprtion of chitosan coating films for phosphate.The main characterization and test methods:We characterized the surface morphology of composite films and composite materialsthrough Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). We characterized the variation of groups ofcomposite films and composite materials through Fourier Transform Infrared spectrum(FT-IR). We characterized thermal stability of composite films and composite materialsthrough Thermal Gravimetric Analyzer (TG) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), andtested the breaking strength and breaking elongation of composite films and compositematerials through Fabric strength tester (HD026NS), as well as tested the adsorption capacityof the composite films and composite materials on Phosphor through UV visblespectrophotometer. We tested fastness and swellbility of the composite films and compositematerials.The result showed:In modified Chitosan solution, Y2O3could be distributed more uniform.The compositefilm had good adsorption, equilibrium adsorption capacity of chitosan/Y2O3composite filmsfor Phosphor can reach0.71mg/g (weak acid, room temperature, phosphate concentrationswere1mg/L). The adsorption property of composite film was better than chitosan film.Polypropylene-chitosan/Y2O3composites had good fastness, stable mechanical properties andrelative swellbility. With the rise of the dosage of glutaraldehyde (the dosage of chitosan was2g/100mL, the dosage of Y2O3was1g/100mL), the fastness of composite materials changedlittle, the tensile strength of composite materials first increased and then decreased, theswellbility of composite materials decreased. With the rise of Y2O3(the dosage of chitosanwas2g/100mL, the dosage of cross-linking agent was0.4mL/100mL), the fastness ofcomposite materials decreased, the tensile strength of composite materials first increased andthen decreased, the swellbility of composite materials decreased. With the rise of chitosan (thedosage of Y2O3was1g/100mL, the dosage of cross-linking agent was0.4mL/100mL), the fastness of composite materials increased, the tensile strength of composite materials firstincreased and then decreased, the swellbility of composite materials increased. Comparepolypropylene-chitosan/Y2O3composites and chitosan coating films, the adsorption propertyof composite materials were better than chitosan coating films. When the pH value of thesolution was2, the adsorption time was100min, phosphate concentrations were10mg/L, theconsumption of composite material was0.2g, the removal rate of phosphate reached87.8%.After the adsorption time4h, the adsorption had equilibrium. With the rise of phosphateconcentrations, the adsorption of mass would increase, dephosphorization rate first increasedand then decreased.The composite materials are economical, simple and efficient.
