The study on the effective utilization of methane has been the first task as the depletion ofoil. Methane is difficult to be activated because it is one of the most stable compounds. In thedirect catalytic conversion of methane, there is usually high temperature (700900℃) andhigh pressure in the reaction, so catalyst is easy to lose activities.Methane can be onverted to C2hydrocarbons at low temperature and atmospheric pressureunder cold plasma. Methane will convert to several free radicals under cold plasma, in orderto get high yield, some catalysis was be applied for template.The ionic liquids are new type ofgreen environment-friendly reagent, which have unique properties such as nonvolatile, goodionic conductivity, large electrochemical window, its adjustable structure and attractive mediato stabilize metal nanoparticles. Previous study has proved that the ionic liquids advanced theyield of C2hydrocarbons.In this paper, the reactions of methane coupling to produce C2hydrocarbons (acetylene,ethyleneðane) under non-equilibrium plasma, ionic liquids and supported ionic liquids ascatalysis, the effect on C2hydrogenation by supported ionic liquids was studied. The mainconclusions are shown as follows.The series of ionic liquids were synthesized according to the formula [Rmim]+X-(R=C2、C4、C6、C8. X=HSO4、PF6、Br、CF3COO、BF4), acidity was tested by FT-IR. Supported ionicliquid wad synthesized.Ionic liquid promoted the methane conversion, increased theselectivity and yield of C2hydrogenations. The acidity of ionic liquid is the main factor.2)When mass concentration of ionic liquid is15%, the [Emim]HSO4load in γ-Al2O3is the mostefficiency, and the best reaction conditions: the molar density of CH4is80%, flow rate is20ml·min-1, power is47W. The [Emim]HSO4/γ-Al2O3loading of5%exhibit the highestactivity and selectivity of C2hydrogenations. The character of different carriers infected thenature of supported ionic liquid. γ-Al2O3exhibited higher activity and selectivity of C2hydrogenations than α-Al2O3and C.
