Oxidative coupling of multi-effect distillation-mandatory electrochemical reaction-UASB-contact oxidation-biological carbon disposal techniques was used to study the treatment of glyphosate wastewater. By the method for comparison direct distillation and oxidative coupling of multi-effect distillation we explored the difference between them. Results indicated that the distilled salt of glyphosate wastewater was white with the major ingredient96.11%(w/w) after the treatment of oxidative coupling of multi-effect distillation. The white salt’s ingredient could meet the chlor-alkali plant’s requirements which can be recycled.Mandatory electrochemical reaction greatly increased the B/C numerical value so that make a contribution to the subsequent biochemical reactions. How the mandatory electrochemical reaction influenced the result we investigate the following aspects:the relationship between electrolytic time and B/C numerical value, the wastewater’s COD numerical value and electrolytic time, pH and COD and so on. Based on the experiment the optimum reaction condition was as following:electrolytic time was30min, current density was30mA/cm25ph was7-8. Under the optimal reaction conditions the wastewater’s COD removal could come to60%.We analyzed the important technological parameter which could impact the effect of the treatment, including UASB reaction system, anaerobic time, manganese as a catalyst, the relationship between contact oxidation reaction、biological carbon reaction and COD. After treatment by oxidative coupling of multi-effect distillation-mandatory electrochemical reaction-UASB-contact oxidation-biological carbon disposal techniques the COD numerical value could under300mg/L, and what’s more the water quality could meet the requirements of《Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard》(GB8978-1996) secondary emission standards.
