With the increasing development of xylose, xylitol industry, even lots of the mother liquor of xylose, xylitol was produced. Sustained and healthy development of this industry has become a common key issue which was put in front of colleagues.In this paper, how to expand the application areas of the xylose mother liquor was studied. The content of mother liquor xylose was complex, which including the glucose-containing arabinose, galactose, etc. Correspondingly, sorbitol, arabitol, galactitol were relatively high in the xylitol mother liquor. This paper studies the ingredients compositions of xylose mother liquor, through calcium column detection and high-pressure liquid chromatography analysis. The graph showed only three sugars were detected such as xylose, including lead-type column four sugars cost was easily be separated. Based on various sugar alcohols standard products, liquid xylose mother liquor produced as the object of study, the composition of the xylose mother liquor was analysed by high pressure liquid the calcium column and the detection of lead type column spectra, R&D found xylose. The arabinose content of mother liquor was26.0744%.L-arabinose has the peculiar physiological functions, the rest of this article for branch arabinose from xylose mother liquor. Expanding the above xylose mother liquor application areas, and promoting the sustained and healthy development of functional sugar industry, which lead the industry to actively cope with the adjustment of the national industrial policy, strengthened xylose mother liquor applications, and promote our wood sugar, xylitol industry is booming and flourishing.
