Quinazolinone derivatives are important nitrogen-containing heterocycliccompounds with remarkable biological activities, such as antibacterical, antitumor,antiflammatory, antiplasmodia and antimicrobial. So quinazolinone derivatives arewidely used in the fields of pharmaceutical and chemical. The thesis carry out theresearch of the synthesis of quinazoline thione with the guiding ideology of Greensynthesis.The thesis study a straightforward one-pot synthesis of3,4-dihydroquinazoline-2(H)-thione derivatives in aqueous. In chapter1, we provided a summary of therecent progress which consists of the following four parts: The introduction of tandemreaction, green chemistry, biological activity of quinazoline, and quinazolinone andthe synthesis of quinazoline and quinazolinone.In chapter2, we described a straightforward one-pot synthesis of3,4-dihydroquinazoline-2(1H)-thione derivatives in aqueous. Here one-potcondensation of o-amino-butyl acrylate and isothiocyanate in the presence of base isreported. The advantage of this method involves metal-free catalysis, good toexcellent yields, ready availability of reactants, and easy operation.
