The subjects of the Ermanii birch forest soil-vegetation restoration is a buildingwasteland on Changbai Mountain, located in the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve Center,and it is one of a small test.In this paper, it makes the imitation of natural prototype principle as a guide, a keystonespecies recovery as a breakthrough, relying on natural succession to restore the originalecological environment. Designed on the basis of investigation, including the two mainaspects of the soil and vegetation ecological restoration program.(1) Soil aspects: Native soil has been destroyed on the building wasteland, so in thisecological restoration projects, we must solve the soils firstiy. outside the nature reserve areas,on the basis of soil survey, Measured its physical and chemical indicators, determining rawmaterial to farmland albic, forest meadow soil and peat. Mixed in different proportions,designing three different experiments, and growing experiment, synthetic soils are similar tosubalpine forest meadow soil in physical and chemical properties.(2) Vegetation aspects: After the building demolition, native soil and vegetation havebeen destroyed, vegetation can restore on the synthetic soil. Vegetation restoration projects, bysurveing plant communities at Ermanii birch forest belt, according to the natural conditions ofthe test area, it selects keystone species ermanii, Sorbus, shrubs alder, herbal Calamagrostisangustifolia, Parasenecio to fostering seedlings and constructing the soil seed bank outsideprotected areas. And then, transplanting seedlings and seeding new soil seed. Depending onthe slope, location and other natural conditions in the test area, partitions site type, anddesigns seven different vegetation recovery implementation modes.In the early stage of ecological restoration, on the basis of the survey sample, thekeystone species ermanii recovery, recovery of soil properties, plant community quality ofrecovery were evaluated.The results showed than species grew well, trees and shrubs growing robust, Appearinghigh survival rate after the Vegetation restoration. Small test project significantly improvedthe soil conditions and vegetation community characteristics, not only the ecological valuewould be enhanced, but also improve the tourism landscape visual effects, achieving theexpected results basically. It can supply vegetation restoration program guidance for the nextChangbai Mountain Nature Reserve, having great theoretical and practical significance andapplication value.
