With imaging spectral remote sense’s faster development, the related spectrum processing technology, especially the spectral data classification and matching identification technology have become the focus of current research. Compare with traditional remote sensing technology, one character of the imaging spectral resolution remote sensing is the combination of image and spectrum.Boron mineral resources in China are abundant, among all Kuandian in Liaoning province is very famous for boron ore mining and producing boron products in our country and even in the world. As one kind of important chemical raw materials, boron ore can be made into borax and boric acid directly. For many years, due to the influence of the ore and slag’s leaching function and the residual liquid during the process of boron products, the water, soil and biology in Kuandian have gathered excess of boron element which seriously effected the local ecological environment and the body health of human, animal and plant. So boron ore mining pollutants treatment is important. The identification of boron mud in this area provides a technical means to boron pollution control.For this paper we first get HJ1BCCD image and IRS image in October2012from environmental satellite center (http://www.secmep.cn/secPortal/portal/index.faces). With the settled parameters of the gain coefficient of satellite sensor, the radiation calibration and radial brightness conversion for HJ1BCCD image and IRS image will be studied. After this, atmospheric correction and the remote sensing data preprocessing will be done in order to improve the accuracy of the late spectral analysis.After MNF separation noise processing for the image of radiation calibration and atmospheric correction by software of ENVI, establish ROIS area output characteristic spectrum for remote sensing image according to the scatter diagram output. Then match and analysis the domestic and foreign existing spectral library and ENVI remote sensing software bring spectral library for data basis and the data of spectrum correlation analysis, Compare with the boron mud composition material. Identify end member according to the ratio of the size. And cut remote sensing image, narrow research scope, prepare for the positioning of boron mud pile point..After identifying the end member, compare each cutting image pixels spectrum profile and end by the ratio of element. It is concluded that the Kuandian of Liaoning region with boron mud piled up area.By spectral analysis boron mud pile up area can be easily identified. After field test, the accuracy of the research can be ensured. The handheld GPS will be used to measure the point coordinates of Kuandian boron mud, and thus according to the on-site validation, this article proved that the way of spectral analysis recognition boron mud area is feasible.
