The Research Of Ecological Urban Construction A Instantce Of The Ecological Urban Constructioa Of Baishan City

The rapid progress of industrialization and urbanization in China brought a seriesof resource and ecological condition problems, which caused by the expansion ofunban areas, population growth and household space increase. How to adjust thetraditional way of urbanization and to find out an efficient and sustainable way ofecological development is the problem we are about to resolve in this modern society.The dissertation is based on the basic theory of urbanization and ecology. It startswith the introduction of the experience of building ecological city in both domesticand international areas. Then it discusses the current situation of the urbanization ofBaishan, the concept of ecological city and the indicator of it. Finally it analyzes theenvironment change trend of Baishan based on trend analysis method and proposesthe solutions of building an ecological city in Baishan. The discussion of theory andmethodology in this dissertation aims at resolving the problem of ecologicalprotection and building ecological city in Baishan.There are four chapters in this dissertation: the first chapter is the introduction. Itstates the research background and purpose of this topic, including the researchmethodology and the general situation of research in building ecological city nationaland international wide. The second chapter discusses the basic problems of buildingecological city; introduce the ecological effect occurred in the progress ofurbanization; analysis the necessity of the integration of ecological protection andurbanization.The third chapter introduces the natural resources and unbanization progress of baishan and does an analysis of the ecological problems Baishan faces. Theforth chapter demonstrates the proposed solutions for building an ecological city inBaishan.
