With the aggravation of the market competition, talent is more and more scarce. Mostenterprises are thinking about how to maintain their own core competitiveness, to play theirown advantages in the fierce competition. Human resources management, especially theperformance management is very important. In this situation, the increasingly fiercecompetition of construction enterprise is facing a huge challenge. Through performancemanagement, construction enterprises can make their resources play a balanced role inaccordance with its own advantages. Performance management also can make constructionenterprises realize their advantages and disadvantages according to the change of externalenvironment to adjust business strategy, and strive to improve organizational performance.This thesis takes the M company as an example, using the literature review, caseanalysis and historical method to analyze and study the situation of performance managementof M company and based on the performance management theory to find out M companyperformance management problems, such as the only performance plan, performanceappraisal and performance result application, the lack of coaching and performance feedbacklink. On this basis, combined with the enterprise strategic development planning as well asthe characteristics and the actual situation, this thesis researches and builds a set of scientific,practical performance management system. This system is a complete system whichencourages the active participation of employees and promotes employees and managerscontinuous communication. It can effectively measure the management of M companyactivities as well as the key factors for the extent of the changes, improve the M company’sperformance management level and ensure that the M company can achieve the performancegoal and promote staff development.
