With the development of the third technology revolution, the emergence of newtechnology inventions is changing the way people live. The development of internetbanking brought great changes to traditional banking, internet banking will becomeimportant factors that affect the bank’s overall competitiveness in the long run. Thefactors that affect personal internet banking use intention became the focus of manyscholars.There are many well-known theories about on internet banking use intention,including the theory of reasoned action, the technology acceptance model theory,theory of planned behavior and technology diffusion theory. In2003, the UnifiedTheory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) integrated the existingbehavior intention models and theories. In recent years, more and more scholarsapplied UTAUT model to study internet banking use intention, and tried to add newfactors to improve the model.This paper firstly review the currentacheivements in previous studies of theUnified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology on internet banking useintention, and added the perceived risk factor to the UTAUT model in considering theparticularity of internet banking to develop new model.In this paper, data is collected by questionnaires. The respondents are the users ofinternet banking in China. Quantitative analysis is conducted to draw the finalconclusion. The main conclusions of this paper are: performance expectancy, effortexpectancy and social impact have significant and direct positive effect on the useintention of internet banking, and perceived risk has a negative effect on use intention.In the end, this paper summarized the main conclusions of this study, shortness ofthe research and future research expectations.
