Factors Constraining The Development Of Ecological Agriculture In China And Suggestions

Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. The sustainable development of agriculture is the key to both social and economic sustainable development in China. To realize the sustainable development of agriculture, we must change fundamentally agricultural production mode, to establish agricultural production system based on high efficiency of resource use and ecological environment protection. In1980, based on China’s national conditions, scientists in China, professor Ma Shijun as a representative, analyzed and rethought the problems in the process of the development of agriculture, and then pointed out, eco-agriculture is inevitable to the realize the sustainable development of agriculture in our country. Meanwhile, organized and promoted different scale of pilot construction nation widely.After30years’exploration and practice, China’s eco-agriculture construction has obtained some achievements and shows vigorous vitality. However, the eco-agriculture construction of our country still in the developing and perfecting stage. There exist deficiencies such as weak ecological awareness, missing related protection policies and laws, weak promotion efforts. Therefore, analyzing and summarizing the eco-agriculture development and the existing pilot construction is of great significance for perfecting eco-agriculture development and promoting nationwide in our country.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the thesis is made up of four parts.Section2is the overview of the theory. It mainly introduces the definition, characteristics and theoretical basis of eco-agriculture, which laid a theoretical foundation for the further study.Section3firstly discusses the background and reason of eco-agriculture in China, and then make a briefly description of the development of eco-agriculture. Moreover, base on the above, the author sums up some unique features of eco-agriculture developed in our country different from that abroad, which provide basis for case analysis of eco-agriculture.Section4take Baiquan, Zhaodong, Luobei for examples, through empirical analysis method, analyzing the process, development mode and construction content of eco-agriculture, and summarizing some experience of eco-agriculture construction, hoping for provide reference for the construction of eco-agriculture to other areas in China.In Section5factors affecting eco-agriculture development in China is summarized based on the above research and analysis, and some suggestion is also give in term of these factors. We are looking forward to this can serve for promoting the development of eco-agriculture. Analyzing and summarize the course of development of ecological agriculture in China and the existing ecological agriculture pilot construction, hoping to serve for promoting the development of eco-agriculture to our country.
