The Receivement And Administration To Hankou Financial Industry Of Ccp At The Early Days Of PRC (1949-1953)

Hankou had being one of the most impotant commercial center in china. After the founding of PRC (People’s Republic of China), as one of the three towns of Wuhan City, its situation was complex and facing with reconstruction. It was an important task for CPC (Communist Party of China) on how to take over and receive this city. According to the instructions of the Central government, it was a key point for the receiving work to take over the financial industry. As the major part of the financial sector had being in Hankou, so the key point was to receive and manage the financial industry in HankouThis paper is divided into four sections to explore the history. The first section is divided into two stages. The first stage is to introduce the confusion of the financial industry in Hankou before the founding of PRC, and it was a troublesome problem for CPC on how to take over it. On the second stage, it introduced the policy and agency.The second section introduced the merger of public ownership and private ownership in the field of financial industry. The third section introduced the labor relations. It was also a key point which would decide the success or failure of the task. The fourth section introduced the Three and Five anti-campaign against in financial industry and studied the impact of exercise on the financial sector.The last part of the paper analysis the process of decision-making of the CPC.
