FTH Company possesses many years of experience on manufacturemanagement, as whose management system follows her Parent company—FHHGroup, one of the biggest manufacturing enterprises in the world. But the problem isproject management, which will absolutely affect an enterprise’s success in nowadays,is still in initial period in FTH.As we know, the key part of a project management isstaff management, which called project team management. So how to improve themanagement ability of project management team becomes significant for a projectmanagement in manufacturing company. Based on the team management of FTHproduction introduction project in Chengdu Branch and according to researching theteam management on this case, this thesis aims at investigating how to improveproject team management ability and level in manufacturing company.Chapter1. Introduce the background, researching methods and content of thisthesis. The project management can realize the best assembly on cost, time andquality by spending least resource, and then promote the company’s competitiveness,so project management plays a more and more important role in modern enterprisemanagement. According to the research on team management of productionintroduction project in FTH (CD), this thesis aims at improving the effect of projectteam management in manufacturing enterprise.Chapter2. On base of introducing the basic situation of FTH Company and thebasic information about the introduction project in CD, this chapter expounds thecurrent management situation of the introduction project and analyzes the reasons for problems existed in the team management.1. the project introduction: CD production introduction project can begeneralized into three periods from its features: collecting&integrating period,merging&improving period and presenting&terminating period. The project teammembers come from different functional departments, which also can be classified tothree parts: business&products development departments, project supporting teamfrom Shenzhen and CD production introduction project team.2. introduce the current team management situation:Firstly, state thecommunication management situation from four aspects: he project team,management of Cost Management department, functional departments andgovernment departments. Secondly, describe the confliction between teammanagement and team members, team member and functional departments’ staff,functional departments’ management and staff. Thirdly, analyze staff’s performanceevaluation from work relations, evaluation content&weighing, evaluation result&application, and evaluation authority. Fourthly, conclude and collate the excitationmechanism of promotion and compensation for the team members.3. the analysis on the team management:Firstly, analyze the problem existed inteam members’ acknowledge, the expression methods, the huge organization and thecommunication ways. Secondly, analyze the conflict problems from several aspects,such as the individuality and acknowledge of the team members, role of the company&the project, position of the functional departments and so on. Thirdly, analyze theevaluation problems from aspects of project managers, rights and liabilities offunctional department managers, suitability of the evaluation content and others.Fourthly, analyze the excitation problems from relations between excitation and work,excitation modes, durative of the excitation effect and so on.Chapter3. This chapter formulates solutions in connection with the problemsexisted in communication, conflictions, evaluation and excitation of this project management team. And the solutions are establishing efficient communication net,envisaging and resolving conflictions, building suitable performance evaluationmechanism and multi-excitations mechanism.1. the communication: Firstly, Improve the total communicational ability of theteam by providing the communication ability training for project managers who aregood at communicating and then engaging internal communication custom. Secondly,Select good communication manners and flexible communication channels based onpredilection of communication objects to improve communication effect andefficiency. Thirdly, Set up project communication information managementplatform,such as information communication system, video conference system, andproduction introduction information project database by using modern informationtechnology to break limit of organization frame construction and then create solidproject communication net.2. the confliction, evaluation and excitation: Firstly, Recognize the inevitability ofthe existing of confliction roundly, understanding value of confliction, controllingprinciples of dealing with confliction; Secondly, Obey the conflict solution proceduresto resolve conflictions efficiently; Thirdly, Guide enterprise to divert the focus toproject management by evaluation and excitation;Fourthly, Upgrade the weight ofproject management in evaluation and excitation; Fifthly, Adapt multi-excitationsmechanism flexibly.Chapter4. This chapter explains that beside the team management mechanism,the external environment of the project management, such as enterprise’sorganizational culture, work mechanism, personnel training mechanism and so on,also play a role in protecting project team management succeeded.
