Re Asearch And Implimentation Of Routing Function Offered In Openflow Networks

With the development of Internet, business network has a complete standard of the use of protocol and the production of equipment, and large-scale network is completely service for professional network operator. However, researchers’new technologies could only be test on small-scale Laboratory network but not on traditional network. The emergence of OpenFlow provides a customizable, programmable experimental platform for the network researchers. However current OpenFlow technologies that are used for network-inerconnect are mainly of layer two. The research of routing services on OpenFlow is not mature enough.The main purposes of this thesis are researching how to add routing services on OpenFlow network and how to use these new services to connect OpenFlow network and traditional network. The main work of this thesis lists as follows:First, this thesis briefly introduces the development of Internet. Through analysis of the problem and challenge of Internet, it raises the research of OpenFlow technology, and analyses the beginning, development and key technology of OpenFlow. Second, this thesis analyses the requirement of layer three routing technology on OpenFlow network. It also introduces the related researches of current network routing technology on OpenFlow network. The related researches include OpenFlowClick, RouteFlow and L3routing. The thesis also analyses the advantages and the need to improve. Third, through the research of routing technologies on OpenFlow network, it comes up with solutions to the problem and implements the L3routing Plus system by programming. Fourth, it verifies the scheme according to the routing test standard. The result of the test case shows that the scheme and solution are feasible.This thesis indicates that our solution can provide OpenFlow network relatively complete routing service function. With this research, researchers can connect OpenFlow network with traditional network to scale up the size and complexity of experimentation network, which is beneficial to better network research and verification.
