Research On People’s Daily Report On NPC&CPPCC2003——2012

National People’s Congress (NPC) and National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held in Spring every year is a big issue in Chinese people’s political life. The report on the two sessions is also the "highlight" of news media in China. Basic to the importance of the two sessions, Chinese media are all highly participated in the report. For years, the media have gathered many experiences in the report on the two sessions, but also face to the questions of how to improve the report to a higher level.In terms of media positioning, People’s Daily is the official newspaper of central committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC),which undertakes tasks to introduce and spread guidelines, policies and claims of CPC and the Chinese government to all country and the world. So People’s Daily is considered to directly convey the voice of the central committee and the state council. Therefore, by analysing the People’s Daily reports on the two sessions, it can reflect transition of attitudes of news media in a certain period of time. It also helps us to observe the trend of national policies and the development of the whole society.In the historical background of ten years, this article is based on the existing research, with reports of the People’s Daily on two sessions as the research object. The article attempts to describe the general shape of report on NPC&CPPCC, and contrast the "popular public opinion field" with "the mainstream media public opinion field" and further more to find out problems in the People’s Daily reported on two sessions.This paper consists of three parts as introduction, main body, conclusion. The introduction is the first chapter, including three sections, involved with the introduction of the two sessions reports; Research purposes, present situation and the literature review; The task and method of this research. Second, third, fourth and fifth chapters as the body part, introduces the history of the two sessions reports, combining previous research, describes the consistency, also finds the changes of reports on two sessions of People’s Daily in a decade. On this basis, summarizes the similarities and differences of two public opinion field, and keywords in ten years. Finally there are some research conclusions on the basis of former theory.
