Along with the rapid development of mobile Internet technology, it is more convenient for people to live and study. More and more people have come into contact with and used the mobile Internet business. The increase of mobile Internet data traffic puts forward higher requirements, and the urgent need for development of mobile communication technology requires not only improvement of the rate of the mobile Internet, but also the quality assurance. LTE technology meets the needs. In order to protect correct and reliable communication, in order to protect the network between the various entities be able to correct, reliable communication protocol conformance test must be carried out according to the protocol specification. And therefore, conformance testing aiming at LTE agreement become the keystone of communication protocol testing research.This paper starts with detailed and systematic research on the S1/X2interface protocol testing of LTE; and introduces relevant knowledge of LTE conformance testing, and gives the presentation of the concept of extended finite state machine based on the overview of the development of the state machine. Extended finite state machine test methods have been conducted in-depth research. Then the differences and relations between the extended finite state machine and a finite state machine are selectively analyzed. Combined with the above knowledge, gives the analysis of extended finite state machine model; detailed design of the system software architecture for consistent the test system is divided into client conformance testing, conformance testing server-side the underlying protocol adapter support module and protocol automatically generated modules, and detailed description of the design model and key technologies of the module. Finally, according to the research target to develop the test objectives, a detailed functional and performance testing for each target, respectively, to verify the correctness of the conformance test system. Combined with the current application in practice of the conformance test, the prospects for the development of conformance test system based on extended state machine are discussed.
