Design And Implementation Of The Ndn Testing System

Recently, with the more attention of Named Data Networking, its development technique becomes the key factoe to the development of the NDN technology. In order to ensure the efficiency of the NDN network development, also to reduce development costs, we require the special tools or methods for testing, but at present the NDN test system R&D technology is not yet mature, so it will constrain the progress and development of the NDN technology in some degree. Therefore, the NDN testing system has important significance.This paper propose an NDN network test system design for the NDN network which is part of BUPT’s Youth Technology Fund project, combined with the characteristics of NDN network, design a series of targeted testing analysis methods, such as input simulation and network status monitoring. The content of the paper is as follows.First, summarize the status and trends of the the domestic and international development of the NDN network development technology, and then analyze the current situation of the NDN network development research. Based on the summary, the paper analysis of the NDN network architecture and routing mechanism, focusing on the NDN network testing methods and network performance evaluation, make the testing development process.Second, the paper propose the overall design the NDN network testing system, the program is based on object-oriented design, made system requirements analysis and module division and designed the request model, interaction process of the testing system.Third, in accordance with the design of the system, implement the fuction to generate network database file, the architecture of the the NDN network testing system and four key functional modules:data communication module, data management module, test analysis module and the output display module.In order to verify the feasibility of the the NDN network design program, with the specified test indicators, perform testing. Through the research and analysis of the testing results, it can effectively verify the effectiveness of the function of the the NDN network test and prove the feasibility of the the NDN network design scheme.
