The Influence Of Web Game To The Social Relationships Of Players

Internet has promoted free and smooth information exchange, and it has also connected us together and changed the way we work, study, entertain, socialize, shop and travel. We can also communicate with our classmates and collogues by the use of e-mail, QQ and social networking site. Social information has been networked, and people’s social relationship is no longer confined within the range of realistic social network and it has begun to spread to the virtual world. With website’s further penetration into people’s life, social relationship which is based on the establishment of network is playing a more and more important role in people’s whole social relationship network. The focus of this paper is web game, which has changed the way and frequency people socialize. It has also narrowed the difference between time and space and it plays an important role in releasing people’s pressure, widening their socializing circle and maintaining their social relationship. Web game provides a good socializing platform for people, it also provides convenient conditions for the players to entertain and study. Online socializing which stretches from the web game and player’s real socializing activities constitutes player’s social life.This paper takes "War within three kingdoms"."Locke Kingdom", and "The Immortals" which have most domestic players as the object of study. It analyzes the influence of web game on player’s online and real social relationship with the theories of psychology, social studies and communication, so as to complete the study of web game on people’s socializing field.
