With the rapid development of information technology, network technology is frequently applied in many aspects, such as multiple UAV reconnaissance to determine regions, the concept of things in the family, aircraft formation problem; compared to traditional technology network technology has many advantages such as extensive coverage, efficiency improved significantly, invulnerability, etc.; along with the advantages of network technology, there have been the problem traditional techniques did not encounter, how to achieve effective and convenient control for the network system? Distributed control is needed.Distributed control problem is a popular research topic in recent years, it includes:1) the object is a large system constituted by a plurality of subsystems;2)subsystems are relatively independent of each subsystem, and can only communicate or the exchange of information with the neighbors of the subsystems;3) all subsystems have a common control objectives. Control objectives are different, distributed control problems can be divided into consensus, formation, schooling issues, etc. This paper focuses on the control objectives for minimizing the distributed control with the linear quadratic (LQ) index. The main contents are as follows:(1) Elaborate on the origins of application background and research status of distributed control problems.(2) The introduction of the classic LQ optimal control results and some knowledge of graph theory, and derives the mathematical model of the distributed control and distributed control problem difficulty.(3) The decentralized control of discrete-time Mean Field LQG design.(4) Under normal circumstances LQR distributed control design.(5) Analysis of the inadequacies of this paper works, and explores future research.
