With the development of society, energy conservation has become the consensus of the world. According to statistics, the energy consumption of buildings accounts for more than one-third of our country’s total energy consumption, and about more than half of these energy consumption of buildings dissipate directly through the glass doors and windows without using by people. The paper designs a monitoring system of magnetron sputtering coating production line to produce saving glass film which has the functions of insulation and energy-saving applying to energy saving in buildings under the ground of improving the energy efficiency of buildings and reducing the energy consumption of the unit area.The paper looks the coating production line of magnetron sputtering multilayer nano energy-saving window film as the research object, and adopts the structure model of "IPC+Industrial Ethernet+PLC+PROFIBUS-DP+field devices" to design a coating production monitoring system with functions of automatic, manual, alarm, display after analyzing of the production process of the energy-saving window film and combining with the technical requirements of the monitoring system.The monitoring system can be divided into three parts including the management unit, control unit and field unit. Instrumentations of field unit upload field-collected dates to the control unit (S7-300PLC) to accept the deal, and execute the control command issued by the control unit (S7-300PLC); the management unit is connected with the control unit (S7-300PLC) through Industrial Ethernet, and uses the Forcecontrol6.1configuration software to achieve functions of displaying, saving, printing and abnormal dates’ alarming of production dates.For the complexity and specificity of the coating production line, the paper adopts the fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm and model reference adaptive control strategy to achieve constant current control of sputtering target power and constant tension control of thin-film when it is running. Finally, the paper models and simulates constant current control of sputtering target power and the film tension control of unwinding segment using MATLAB, and the results validates the control systems adopting fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm and model reference adaptive control strategy which compares with the traditional control systems has better dynamic performance and anti-jamming capability.
