Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) is the importance and hottopic of study in the field of international and national computer and education, educational technology and educational psychology. At present, many colleges and universities depending on their abundant facultyand professional academic scientific research team, develop and make a lot ofweb-based instruction come into use. The traditional “teaching--centered” model ofteaching has already been under challenge and converted to the “learning--centered”style. These new situations pave well the ground for the CSCL “learning--centered”independent study style. After reading plenty of references, the writer learned that many educationalinstitutions have made a lot of research on the topic and made many achievements. However, the writer noticed that the objects are always undergraduates and students, but some experts, operators, alumnus and some parents are not paid enough attentionsto. Furthermore, the involvements in the experiment are always restricted to concretecourses, but less other communication and interaction. As far as the writer concerned, the development and study of the CSCL should focus more on the organization andchoice of the participants, to introduce more real factors to improve the passion andeffect of their study and create a better study atmosphere to form a learningcommunity. The writer designs and develops a CSCL-based learning community system, applied to undergraduates, teachers and other learners. On one hand, the system cancomplement to the formal class study, on the other hand, it enforces the relationshipbetween the university, teacher and students and shorten their distance. When the writer tested the system’s functions and feedbacks, it performed welland during the testing time the writer also found out some shortcomings and weakpoints which will be improved continuously later.
