With the rapid development of contemporary information technology, people toacquire more and more information, and increasingly high demand for meeting efficiency,requires more and more smart meeting system integration. However, existing intelligentconferencing systems generally use a laptop as a conference terminal, has complextransmission cable, poor human-computer interaction, that supporting function software isimperfect. Full use of existing wireless LAN communication technology, embeddedtechnology and Human-Computer Interaction to design a embedded terminal for intelligentconference system, which terminal is mobile, interactive, fully functional, layout quicklyand easily, that is high practical value.In this paper, talk about a local intelligent discussion conferencing systems. Usingembedded systems as a development platform for intelligent conference system terminal.Design and implement hardware platform, function of supporting software, and produceprototype. By experimental test verifies the rationality of design. Providing a new solutionto designed a terminal for the intelligent conference system.Design of an embedded terminal for intelligent conference system use OMAP3530.Which terminal integrated display function module, audio and video capture module,network communication module, and universal interface module. Use Cadence software todesign hardware platform, verifies the electromagnetic compatibility and signal integrity ofthe circuit board through simulation. Production of experimental board, Test theavailability of the function module by the experiments.Integrate existing ultrasonic and infrared ray positioning device on embedded terminal,development driver for positioning data. Designed and implemented mouse emulation,real-time writing function by ultrasound and infrared positioning technology. Solve theproblem that can not be handwritten annotations and pen-based interaction for theembedded terminal for intelligent conference system.Establishes wireless local area communications network, and builds large-scaleinteractive system which is end-to-end for intelligent conference system. Change thephenomenon of "multi-party speak listen" in conference system. Improve thecross-platform highly interactive in conference system. And effectively improve theefficiency of meetings. Design and implement the function that is human-computer interaction, terminalcommunication, meeting attendance, electronic voting and other functions Software, richsound functions of intelligent conference system. Produce prototype, and test the functionsoftware of intelligent conference system.The main contributions are as follows:(1) Proposed the solutions that integrated interactive means of ultrasound and infraredpositioning with the intelligent conference system, developed of cross-platform interactivefunction, establishing the end-to-end large-scale interactive systems for the intelligentconference system.(2) Produces prototype of the embedded terminal for intelligent conference system.Designs and implements the function of cross-platform communication, Human-ComputerInteraction, Meeting attendance and electronic voting function. Rich sound the functions ofintelligent conference system.The study above that provides a complete solution to design the local intelligentdiscussion conference system. Integrates human-computer interaction device, developsinteractive features of the cross-platform conference system, enhance the interactiveperformance of the intelligent discussion conference system. Proves a valuable referencefor the research and development of products that are the terminal of intelligent discussionconference systems, cross-platform communication systems and human interface devices.
