Research And Application Development Of A Text Message-based Information Query System On Mobile

In the premise of the wide use of mobile phone, the mobile phone short messagebusiness grow rapidly. Because of its convenience, low cost, timeliness of themessage, it has become a tool of communication which is indispensable to people’slife. Short messages are applied in query, notification and transfer of all kinds ofinformation platform by making use of advantages of short messages in order torealize the functions of remote information control, business pay, securityauthentication, information confirmation.In this paper, the main problem is settled, that is mobile phone users will getfeedback with the corresponding information by sending SMS to a certain specificplatform. Thus cell phone users can easily enquire the information they needed.Under this condition, both information query cost of mobile phone users and theoperating cost of service platforms can be reduced and also considerable economicand social benefits can be gained. The design scheme of this paper is installingexternal modems and using the computer software to process received Shortmessages and extract the useful information from short messages for database query,the query results are sent to the customers by mobile phones and the short messagequery is realized.The system is designed by using the c++language and Access database. Itincludes four module: subsystem of text messages, delivery subsystem of textmessages, message processing subsystem, system Settings. Firstly this paper analyzesthe demand of the system and does feasibility study, then introduces the overalldesign of system on the basis of the demand analysis and illustrates the design andimplementation of its core function and finally discusses testing of the system applications.The system designed in this paper will have certain application value under thecircumstances of large number of queries, relaxed query conditions and effectiveresults.
