This paper passing through experiments study on mechanical efficiency of a kind of laser transducing sheet. The transducing sheet can convert laser energy into shock wave. Shock wave through the liquid coupling transfer to the skin. It can temporarily overcome the skin stratum corneum barrier. It can make the liquid through the stratum corneum into the skin within a short time and realize the transdermal drug delivery.In this paper, the test results indicate that the impact force that is generated with the the transducing sheet is saturated with laser energy density increasing. The following is the specific performance. When the laser energy is fixed, with the spot size decreasing, the impact force gradually increase to the peak and later will no longer increase. When the spot size is fixed, with the laser energy increasing, the impact force gradually increase to the peak and later will no longer increase. The "saturation" phenomenon is the result of laser plasma shielding.The research of this paper set a control experiment. Making use of the transducing sheet conduct the histamine solution transdermal reaction test research. Results display that the transducing sheet producing the laser shock wave that can effectively promote histamine solution transdermal erythema reaction and the strength of the erythemal response is positively related with the impact force.It shows that laser shock wave that is produced by the transducing sheet can significantly promote the transdermal transport of histamine solution. It does not damage the skin and effects in a shorter time.The study of this paper also show that the impact force that is generated with the the transducing sheet is saturated with laser energy density increasing. The saturation relation add more security for its practical use in safety. When the laser impact reach the threshold requirement of transdermal delivery and close to the saturation intensity, if increasing the laser energy, the impact force is not increased significantly. This reduces the requirement of the laser energy controlling accuracy. It helps protect the skin from damage and improve the safety of instrument operation from the principle.This paper study the laser transducing sheet. Its structural is designed a set including constrained layer, absorbing layer, protective layer and a liquid box integration "insert". The total thickness is about1.3mm and the diameter is12mm. The transducing sheet has the advantage of compact structure and is easy to fulfil the design requirement of clinical disposable. It also has other advantages of easy assembly and disassembly, convenient mass production and suitable for no damage subcutaneous trace medication use.The result of this study provide experimental basis for the transducing sheet joinning in the construction about the practical development of transdermal drug delivery device of laser shock wave.
