Designing And Implementation Of A Network English Multimedia Teaching System

With the rapid development of information in modern society, education systemreform comes to a new level on the basis of computer technique development,multimedia technology development and network technique development. Modernteaching method reform has become an important part of education reform. More andmore education workers regard computer network education system as a significantmeasure of reforming teaching method and improving teaching effect. Under suchbackground, computer network assistance teaching method has been graduallyintroduced for English teaching. Compared with other disciplines, many restrainingfactors exist in English teaching, including less time for the interaction between teachersand students, lack of English oral training environment, single learning method andother problems. These problems result in the phenomenon of more emphasis on theoryand less practices in English teaching. In fact, because of the particularity that Englishteaching has high requirement for oral environment, the application of multimediaeducation system is more necessary for English assistance education system. However,from the actual situation, the development and research about computer networkmultimedia courses are far from the actual requirements of English network teaching.English network teaching mostly involves in the transmission and application of videoson the internet, nonetheless the current video transmission is far from satisfaction.Therefore, the article emphasizes on the practice and development of computerassistance education in English teaching on the basis of B/S mode network multimediaeducation system, which makes English network teaching have further improvementand development.The research content include,first, on the basis of B/S mode developmenttechnique, English network education system has been studied theoretically and itsproduction method has been researched, besides that, actual assessment, evaluation,development and application have been conducted on the education system. In addition,a comparison is made between computer network teaching mode and traditionalteaching effect to confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of network English multimedia education system. Second,Based on the network teaching mode of Webbrowser, Internet is served as a method to transmit the content of media education, thenEnglish live courses and playback courses will be played on the internet, at the sametime, related on-line tests and on-line Q&A are conducted, therefore, teaching activitiescan be conducted efficiently.Third,In addition, the teaching system will be assessed,evaluated and taken into application.The result shows: network multimedia education system offers various materialswhich make the abstract contents vivid and specific. The change of traditional Englishteaching mode that makes students learning English with deep understanding instead ofsimple memory, prompts students’ initiative for information increase, which not onlyimproves time utilization factor but also changes the original single informationcommunication from teachers to students, provides a large amount of Englishenvironment materials which are beneficial for students to practice their oral Englishand can prompt teaching tasks to be completed successfully.
