Design And Implementation Of Office Automation System For Sichuan Provincial Local Taxation Bureau

With the development of science and the growing popularity of high technology, anincreasing number of people are realizing the importance of office automation. In China,OA system is mainly applied in a few large enterprises. In their management reform,various departments of the government have gradually adopted some advancedmanagement systems, including OA, so as to realize a transition from the old traditionalmanagement pattern to the modern management pattern. In recent years, though it’sbeen popularized to some extent, the universal application of OA system hasn’t beenfully realized. Reasons accounting for this can be analyzed as a high development costand one-time investment, difficulty in technical and management processes, and theimmaturity of OA system development.This thesis is an applied research on a web-based OA system, which isspecially-made for the Local Taxation Bureau of Sichuan Province in its internal dailymanagement. After requirements analysis, the entire system is divided into fivefunctional modules, in which detailed examples are described in order to fullydemonstrate the framework of OA system based on user requirement. The main part ofthis thesis lies in the design of the system, in which detailed design specification isgiven on the network component, level division, and the overall framework.B/S system pattern is adopted into the OA system in this thesis, while on the serverside, ThinkPHP framework webpage technology and MySQL database are combined torealize the code implementation. The built-in template engine of ThinkPHP is to displayas well as to provide a massive database processing power which can realize a freeexchange with the MySQL database. Also the ThinkPHP framework can well supportsuch functions as pagination display, verification code, file upload and role-based accesscontrol, which are all well applied in the system.
