Application And Practice Of RUP Method In SINA Micro-blog Test Management

RUP (Rational Unified Process) method is a software development methodology began to rise in the1990s. RUP software development life cycle is a two-dimensional model of software development. In RUP, the core work of the software development life cycle time and RUP flow is divided into a two-dimensional space. RUP methodology defines four key stages, of nine core workflow as well as six best practices. The RUP its methodology and strong practical become an important process in the field of software engineering methodology, one. In recent years, more and more software projects take RUP as the project’s software process guidance.From my own work, this article discuss on the RUP methodology in SINA microblogging platform test management application in-depth.In the first phase of SINA microblogging platform, we use the full RUP model to guide the project practice which also achieved good results. On the other hand, project management has created a lot of unnecessary overhead, and also let the participants feel very confused because we did’t do an effective tailor for RUP.Based on RUP methodology generally cutting principle, this paper proposed a set of cutting methods. On the basis,we defined a set of tailored RUP model which is suit for those Internet Project based on B/S architecutre such as SINA microblogging. In the2rd phase of Sina microblogging platform, we use the tailored RUP mdel, and achived a good result. RUP tailoring and cutting model presented in this paper has better software project application RUP practice guidance and significance.
