A Study On Network Media’s Propagation Towards Social Vulnerable Groups Events

Social vulnerable groups is a typical social group, with the characters of low income, poverty, low political influence, sensitiveness. The groups exist in every society and reflect the differentiation and contradiction of society. Their rights guarantee is the important task of society manage and welfare construction. As receivers of communication, the resources they can enjoy and use are less than others, and they are short of means to join communication, ability to contact with media, receive and deal with messages, the consciousness of expressing opinion. The groups could easily feel the unfairness of resource distribution, adding that the messages is asymmetric or request could not be answered and satisfied, the bad events which make negative effects on harmonious and stable society construction are easily to happen. Network media, which is the most popular media nowadays, changing the method of news report and message receive, becomes the most convenient and effective means to reflect the public opinion events of vulnerable groups. Net citizens, who are stimulated by events that targets are vulnerable groups, express attitude, emotion and action tendency through using network media. The public opinions formed by the method above are what network media communicates. The online spread of public opinion events for social vulnerable groups has become a typical phenomenon on Internet.This paper uses some scientific research methods, such as the example demonstration, literature analysis and so on. By consulting report, monograph, database, magazine and professional website, I conclude the characters of public opinion events for social vulnerable groups, the principles and main progresses of network media propaganda such events.
